Biography

Dr. Somaya Al Nuaimi is a highly accomplished Pediatric Consultant at Fujairah Hospital, where she has served as Head of the Thalassemia Department since 2014. Under her leadership, the department was recognized as a Center of Excellence in 2018, with renewed designation in 2025. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she is renowned for her expertise in pediatric care, medical leadership, and training. Dr. Al Nuaimi holds an MBBS from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (2000), and has earned both the MRCPCH (UK, 2014) and the Arab Board in Pediatrics (2021). She is also a certified AHA PALS Instructor Trainer (2022) and a Certified Professional Trainer (2017). In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Al Nuaimi is an Associate Professor at Ras Al Khaimah Medical & Health Sciences University and has been serving as Arab Board Deputy for Pediatrics at Fujairah Hospital since 2021. She is a respected speaker, active on scientific committees, and regularly contributes to educational programs across the UAE.

Biography

Dr. Bushra Mohammed is a pediatric hematologist at the Dubai thalassemia center. She holds an MBBCH from Dubai Medical College and has completed residency program in Dubai health. She is board certified, having successfully completed the MRCPcH and Arab board of pediatric. She has completed the international clinical fellowship in benign Hematology at our lady’s Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Ireland. Dr. Bushra is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and advanced medical knowledge in her field.
