Dr. Sana plays an active role in education and mentorship. She serves as a preceptor in the pharmacy residency program and contributes as an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, UAE University, where she supports the next generation of healthcare professionals. Her work is guided by a deep commitment to patient-centered care, professional development, and the advancement of pharmacy practice in the UAE. Dr. Sana Alblooshi is a senior clinical pharmacist specializing in hematology and oncology, with over 12 years of experience at Tawam Hospital, one of the UAE's leading tertiary care centers. She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Dubai Pharmacy College, followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the United Arab Emirates University in 2014. She later pursued an MBA from the same university, reflecting her commitment to advancing both clinical excellence and healthcare leadership.
She is board certified in hematology/oncology pharmacy by the American Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), and holds professional certifications in Benign Hematology and Pharmacy Leadership from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). She is also a proud graduate of PUREHEALTH Emirati Leadership Program.

Dr. Hadeel Mahmmoud Ammar is a Consultant in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Pathology at Dubai Hospital, Dubai Health Authority (DHA). With over 23 years of clinical experience, she specializes in managing complex hematologic and systemic disorders. Dr. Ammar earned her MBBS from Dubai Medical College and completed her Arab Board certification with training in Syria. She is known for her patient-centered, evidence-based approach and plays an active role in clinical education and multidisciplinary care initiatives across the UAE.

Dr Naser is currently serving as a Head of the pediatric hematology/oncology service and a Consultant Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Mediclinic-Middle East. Dr Naser is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of medicine and Health sciences. Before that Dr Alzein was the Chief Division of pediatric hematology/oncology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC). Dr Naser joined SKMC in 2009. He also served as the Chairman of pediatrics at Sheikh Khalifa City in 2020-2021. Before that, he served as the medical director of pediatric hematology/oncology at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa in the United States of America. He was an Assistant professor of pediatrics/pediatric hematology/Oncology at Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in the United States of America.
Dr Naser completed his medical school from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan in 1993.
Dr Alzein, completed his training in the United States of America. He is double American board certified in Pediatrics and pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Dr Naser has major interest in Lymphoma and hematological malignancies, bone marrow transplant, as well as benign hematology like hemoglobinopathies, sickle cell anemia, and bleeding disorders.
He is a 2 times winner of the American Society of Oncology (ASCO) Merit Award; for the best translational medicine research abstract in cancer genetic. In addition, he won the Lymphoma Spore Group Grant Award in 2005 for his work on DNA methylation in B cell Lymphomas.
In addition, Dr Alzein won 3 times the Best Teaching Award from the Education Department at SKMC. He won Employee of the month at SKMC.
Dr Alzein, has great experience in bone marrow transplant and solid tumors as well.
Dr Alzein has been a speaker in several International and regional meetings. He has multiple publications related to his field.

Dr. Maryam Darwish, MD, FRCPC, is a Canadian Board-certified Consultant Clinical Hematologist, Internist, and Professor, specializing in hemoglobinopathies and benign hematological disorders. She earned her MSc in Leadership in Health Professions Education from the University of Sharjah (2025). Trained at McMaster University and Toronto General Hospital, she founded the Hemoglobinopathy Clinic at Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital. Dr. Darwish serves as Adjunct Clinical Professor at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University and teaches at Ajman University. As Internship Program Coordinator at MOPA hospitals, she mentors future doctors. Her work reflects dedication to clinical care, and medical education in the UAE.
