Biography

Dr. Khadija Hafidh, MD, FRCP (Edin), is a Consultant Physician and Diabetologist at Rashid Hospital, Dubai Academic Health Corporation, with over 20 years of experience in internal medicine, diabetes, obesity, and metabolism. She heads the Diabetes Unit, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, a SCOPE-certified obesity expert, and a Cardio-metabolic Health Specialist. She serves on UAE diabetes guideline committees and focuses on cardiovascular complications in diabetes and obesity.

Dr. Mohamoud Korashy is a consultant interventional cardiologist at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Fujairah, with 20 years of experience in cardiovascular care. His clinical interests include interventional cardiology and catheterization, cardiac device therapy, peripheral interventions, ischemic heart disease, dyslipidemia management, preventive cardiology, and heart failure care. Dr. Korashy holds an MD and PhD in cardiology, an MSc in cardiology, and European Board diplomas in interventional cardiology and echocardiography.

Biography

Dr. Sabaa AlHemyari is an accomplished Clinical Pharmacist, researcher, educator, and healthcare policy professional with extensive expertise in formulary management, pharmacoeconomics, policy and guideline development, digital health transformation, and clinical pharmacy services. She holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy and has authored 79 publications in Scopus-indexed journals, with significant contributions to social and administrative pharmacy. Dr. AlHemyari manages strategic planning and development initiatives for the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and Emirates Health Services (MOHAP/EHS), including biologics surveillance and professional upskilling programs. She also contributes to several healthcare committees, supporting the development of high-quality clinical and pharmacy standards. Previously, she served as a clinical tutor and researcher at the University of Sharjah, where she contributed to pharmacy education and research. Her work continues to focus on advancing evidence-based pharmacy practice, healthcare policy, innovation, and patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
