Biography

Dr. Sabbour has over 29 years of experience in all aspects of cardiology, with advanced training at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital) and a former Clinical Assistant Professorship at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine. He is a leader in complex cardiac care in the UAE, widely published in multicentre cardiovascular research and guidelines, and has performed over 800 cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and implantable devices.

Dr. Tamer Montaser is a consultant in cardiac and general intensive care, ECMO, and emergency medicine, with dual specialty training completed in the UK. He currently serve at STMC, where he lead the ECMO service, driving excellence in critical care delivery. With extensive experience in managing complex cardiac and respiratory emergencies, He combine advanced clinical expertise with a commitment to improving patient outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration and innovative critical care strategies.

Biography

Prof. Feras Bader is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and the Founder and Chairman of the Middle East Heart Academy. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency followed by a Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in 2003 and a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Utah in 2006. At the University of Utah, he served as Medical Director of the Heart Failure Program and Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship, and earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Investigation. From 2015 to 2025, Prof. Bader served at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he established the UAE’s first multidisciplinary advanced heart failure and heart transplant program. He later became Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford and is American Board-certified in multiple specialties. A prolific researcher, he has authored over 175 peer-reviewed publications and is a Fellow of leading international cardiology societies.
