Mehad is a specialist palliative care nurse and End-of-Life care coordinator with extensive clinical experience in the field of oncology, and palliative care nursing. She obtained her degree of Master of Science in Nursing, specialty of Adult Health Nursing from RAK Medical and Health Science University. Mehad has a special interest in pain and symptoms management, communication at end of life, advance care planning, family support and she is very dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and their family throughout the palliative journey. In addition to clinical expertise, Mehad is actively engaged in policy making, advancing palliative care through education, training, and passionate about research and integrating best evidence-based practice in palliative care delivery.
