Dr. Ali Muhammad Al Matrooshi is a senior officer in Dubai, serving as Director of the Child and Women Protection Department within the General Directorate of Human Rights. In this role, he oversees child welfare and abuse investigations, advocates for children’s rights, and manages specialized services for vulnerable children. He also leads training programs for officers on handling cases involving minors and integrates human rights principles into police practices to ensure the protection and well-being of children and women.

Ms. Sara Musabih Almarri is a specialized Child Protection Social Worker since 2016. She graduated from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Advanced Child Protection. Currently, Mrs. Al Marri is the Lead of Child Protection Committee in Dubai Health. Through her leading role, Mrs. Al Marri evaluates allegations of neglect, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse in order to facilitate protection for children across governmental health care facilities in Dubai. She liaises with the other local authorities in the UAE within the child protection field to promote, support, and safeguard the well-being of all children in need. Mrs. Al Marri is dedicated to the protection of vulnerable children from any harm, as well as to the promotion of child mental well being.
