Dr. Nidal Al Hashaykeh earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Cluj-Napoca Faculty of Medicine, Romania (1988), and holds the Jordanian Board in Pediatrics (2001) and the European Board in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (2021).
He is the Senior Consultant and Chief of the PICU and PHDU at Tawam Hospital, UAE, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, UAE University.
Dr. Nidal has led major initiatives in developing PICU services and policies across Tawam Hospital and SEHA, and is an active contributor to regional training and academic programs. He is also a regular speaker at international conferences and a recipient of multiple SEHA awards.

Dr. Khaled Khalfan is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and Head of the Paediatric Surgery Department at Al Qassimi Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Sharjah. A German board-certified paediatric surgeon with over 15 years of experience, he specializes in neonatal and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) paediatric surgery. Dr. Khalfan is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and has been instrumental in establishing advanced paediatric surgical services in the UAE, leading one of the region’s busiest and most innovative children’s surgical units.

Dr. Marco Pallavidino graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa, Italy, and is board-certified in Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Management from the Western Piedmont University of Novara. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
He has held clinical roles at major European centers including San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, Gaslini Children’s Hospital in Genoa, Santa Croce Hospital, and Necker–Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris. His career focuses on Pediatric Neurocritical Care and Neuroanesthesia, with particular expertise in advanced neuromonitoring for severe brain injury, including ICP, PbtO₂, TCD, cerebral microdialysis, EP, and cEEG.
