Jane H. Downs is an accomplished dietitian and nutrition leader with dual South African and British nationality. She holds a BSc, BSc (Hons), and MSc in Dietetics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Diploma in Hospital Dietetics from the University of Pretoria. Currently the Dietetics Manager at Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital (RAK) in the UAE, she previously served as Chief Dietitian (Head of Department) at King Edward VIII Hospital in South Africa. A former President of the South African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, she has delivered over 260 academic presentations and authored numerous publications in clinical and sports nutrition.
