Biography

Dr. Bamakhrama graduated from the College of Medicine, Sanaa University, and earned the MRCP (UK) and Arab Board in Internal Medicine in 2006. He completed his Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology (UK) in 2010 and the Jordanian Board in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2012. He pursued a fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at Herlev Hospital, Copenhagen University, Denmark, in 2013. Dr. Bamakhrama was awarded FRCP (Edinburgh) in 2016 and FASGE in 2017. He is Associate Professor of Medicine at Dubai Medical College and Consultant Gastroenterologist at Rashid Hospital, Dubai, and a member of multiple national and international gastroenterology societies.

Biography

Dr. Fathiya Al Harthy is a pediatric gastroenterology consultant at The Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at McMaster Children’s Hospital, Canada, and her pediatric residency at Oman Medical Speciality Board. Dr. Al Harthy speciality is in gastrointestinal , hepatology and nutrition. She is the head of subspecialities in the child health department at the Royal Hospital. She chairs the Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Committee. Additionally, she is the vice president of the Oman Transplant Society, with research interests in NAFLD and liver transplantation. She is committed to mentoring and training residents and medical students through her academic contributions and clinical leadership.
