Prof. Gina Zini, MD, PhD, is Professor of Hematology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Consultant Hematologist at Policlinico A. Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, Italy. She is internationally recognized for her expertise in diagnostic hematology and serves as a member or chair of several prestigious international committees, including the European LeukemiaNet (ELN), International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH), International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH), World Health Organization (WHO), Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI), and the International Working Group on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (IWGM-MDS). Her research focuses on automated blood cell analysis, hematologic morphology, quality assurance and standardization, onco-hematology diagnostics, and the application of digital morphology and artificial intelligence in hematology education and practice. Prof. Zini has organized and taught more than 80 national and international diagnostic hematology courses, delivered over 1,000 invited lectures worldwide, and authored more than 225 peer-reviewed publications, with an H-index of 31.

Dr Raslan is a faculty member from NCI, Cairo university, full Professor since 2010. She joined KFSH-Dammam, 2007 and ongoing, Consultant Hematopathology, Created and implemented the Flowcytometry section, and have been the section head up to 2022, head of hematology section from 2019-2022. Dr. Raslan holding medical doctorate degree in Hematology and Oncological Hematology, she has Excellent experience in hematological malignancies, flowcytometry and teaching. She has leadership skills involving managing, and motivating teams to achieve their objectives. Maintaining high quality standards, she holds Six Sigma and TQM, and passed through multiple auditing from JCI, CAP and CPAHI. Dr Raslan Published 30 research papers in international and national Journals, 7 accepted abstracts, and has been speaker in many conferences, workshop, and advisory consultant on MPN, myeloma and leukemia committees, she attended more than 50 conferences and workshops.
