Lin FUNG is the Professor of Medical Laboratory Science at University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) in Queensland, Australia. She lectures into Haematology, Blood Banking and Transfusion Science, and leads the OptiBlood Research team at UniSC. Lin is currently supervising 4 PhD and 1 MSc transfusion related projects while also conducting her own research looking into Donors & Donation Practices in Asia. Her research interests include TRALI, cryo-preserved and refrigerated platelets, blood management, and donors & donation practices. She is an active ISBT member and has been the Chair of the Granulocyte Immunobiology Working Party, Regional Director of Western Pacific, Vice-President and is presently the ISBT President-Elect.
