Dr Beesan Maraqa holds a Palestinian board in Family medicine (2020), a Master's degree in public health-epidemiology (2015), and a High diploma in Safety, Quality, Informatics, and leadership from Harvard University, USA (2023). She is the chair of the ASPIRE Global WONCA project and a former WONCA's Palestinian liaison person in the Al-Razi movement. She is also an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine / Hebron University. She has many recent publications in peer-reviewed journals; several publications and research are in progress.

I am a senior consultant family and community medicine with an International Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, MRCGP [INT], Oman – August 2007 (Passed with merit) and Arab Board Certified in Family Medicine – February 2008. In addition, I underwent Academic Fellowship Program from May 2013 to April 2015. I have a special interest in teaching and education and currently working in a well-known Institute that is the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) which is the main teaching hospital for both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate residents. Currently, I am the program director of the family medicine residency training program which is under the Oman Medical specialty Board (OMSB). Besides, I have special interest in research and I have several publications with special interest in women’s health issues. Finally, I am married with two daughters.

Dr. Samar Almoazen is a current president of Syrian Association of Family Medicine, and a head of the examination committee in the Scientific Council of the Syrian Board of Family and Community Medicine, she is a lecturer and supervisor of Applied Aspects in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Damascus University, she works as a clinical Supervising Master's Degree students with a specialization in Family and Community Medicine at Faculty of medicine,she is also a doctoral candidate of Family and Community medicine at Faculty of medicine, Damascus University, and preparing for PHD thesis, she is also a tutor in postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine delivered by Rila Institute of Health Sciences, London. (2020 -current), and a practical training supervisor for UNRWA health centers operating in Syria for a Diploma project in Primary Health Care and Reproductive Health for nurses and midwives.
